Telephone Box

Originally finished around the 24th of July 2026, some modifications were made to make some stuff more clear / less broken.

A few important things about this one

1. This experience works best on Windows with Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Brave, etc.). Firefox does work but JavaScript in popups is super slow, and this will cause major performance issues. I haven’t tested Safari. There is also a component that relies on window position hinting. If you’re on Linux, Wayland doesn’t allow this, so you may need to force XWayland mode or use an X11 desktop environment for this one. So for simplicity I’d recommend Windows and Chrome - a Wayland and Firefox user :(

2. Outline of the challenges:
   The Call: OSINT
   Timeswept: Web
   ????????: Web, (super basic) forensics, web
   
   There are no flags, you’ll know you’re at the end when you see the thank you for playing message, and there’s interludes between the major parts styled a little bit like this.

3. It’s possible for things to get desynced in Timeswept, I may fix this properly when I get time but moving an object on one instance should sync it on the others.

4. The third part mainly consists of websites that have/had significance to me, and they’re mostly a bit broken because I’m using them in the state they were in at the time. The forensics challenge uses the kinda broken UI I made, you don’t need the broken features, you can just look through the files to find the answers.

5. Feel free to report bugs to me! There’s probably stuff I haven’t noticed yet because these take a while to test fully and I’m pretty busy recently.
